Tor status is verified live against the Tor Project check service for this device connection. This web build never claims Tor protection it cannot prove — a regular WebView is not a Tor Browser. Use the handoff or the native build for genuine Tor routing.

Web Build Limit

The web/PWA build cannot route traffic through Tor — no in-app WebView is a Tor Browser. For genuine Tor protection, open pages in Tor Browser, or use the native FM Kinetic Wallet build, whose Orbot / Onion Browser integration shows PROTECTED only after a verified Tor exit IP.

Native module included in the project: a WKWebView reference integration using the Onion Browser 3.x / Orbot architecture with tracker rules and live Tor verification — it requires Xcode compilation and real-device testing before it can display PROTECTED.
